REGIONAL CHEF I - Exton, PA

Salary:  $80000- $85000 yearly. Salary commensurate with education and experience.

Other Forms of Compensation: Bonus eligible & vehicle provided 

Pay Grade: 16

Job Summary

The Regional Chef is responsible for leading all culinary functions for business, educational, and camp food service accounts dining accounts in a given geographical area- PA, DE, MD. 

Travel is required for this role within PA, DE, and MD.

The ideal candidate should reside in greater Philadelphia, PA, and be flexible to work weekends as business dictates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements operation plans and systems to ensure contractual obligations are met
  • Leads cost controls and control expenditures for the region
  • Acts as a Regional leader who models proficiencies and behaviors that support company values
  • Plans and builds menus to include influencing the menu for chef’s tables, catering expos, etc.
  • Develops and communicates strategies for improving customer experience
  • Interacts professionally with a diverse group of associates, suppliers, clients, and customers
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability with multi-unit experience of at least 5-7 years.
  • Must have previous experience in the same (Regional Chef) or similar culinary management level role (Executive Chef)
  • Culinary Degree, or comparable four-year culinary development experience
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate on various levels including management, departmental, customer, and associate levels
  • Strong supervisory, leadership, hands-on management, and mentor skills
  • Strong financial acumen, proven P&L experience, budgetary, and food control practices
  • A demonstrated ability to assess and grow people, operations, equipment, and revenue
  • Willing to travel throughout the region
  • Digital literacy and experience with MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, preferred
