Human Resources Manager
Onsite | Fort Worth ISD | Chartwells K12
We’re seeking a dynamic, people-first Human Resources Manager to support operations at Fort Worth ISD. This hands-on, onsite role partners closely with district leadership and Chartwells K12 management to align HR strategy with business goals, strengthen employee engagement, and drive operational excellence across a high-volume environment.
This is an ideal opportunity for a business-savvy HR professional who excels in employee relations, thrives in fast-paced settings, and is passionate about building strong, compliant, and inclusive workplace cultures. This position is fully onsite; remote or hybrid work is not available.
What You’ll Do
Strategic HR Partnership
• Serve as a trusted advisor to district and Chartwells leadership on all HR matters, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee development, and organizational effectiveness
• Align people strategies with operational goals to support a large, diverse K–12 workforce
• Guide leaders at all levels to strengthen leadership capability and elevate team performance
Talent & Workforce Operations
• Streamline HR processes to support high-volume hourly recruiting, hiring, and onboarding
• Partner with corporate HR teams to deliver consistent programs, tools, and services
• Analyze workforce trends and key metrics to inform proactive talent strategies and business decisions
Employee Relations & Compliance
• Provide high-touch employee relations support, balancing compliance with a strong people-centered approach
• Lead compliance efforts across federal, state, and local employment laws
• Foster a positive, inclusive work environment that reflects Chartwells’ values and service commitment
What You Bring
• Three (3)+ years of progressive HR generalist experience, ideally in a high-volume, hourly workforce environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative, consultative style
• Proven ability to build trust with onsite leaders, client partners, and frontline teams
• Experience translating data and insights into practical, people-focused solutions
• Demonstrated success leading change initiatives and cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and navigate ambiguity with confidence
• Solid working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required
• Minimal travel required
• Bilingual strongly preferred
