Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day front-of-house café and espresso bar operations.
- Hire, onboard, train, coach, and support café associates.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and guest-focused team environment.
- Ensure exceptional hospitality standards and a consistently positive guest experience.
- Coordinate with culinary and client partners to support efficient service delivery.
- Plan, promote, and execute café events, promotions, and special programs.
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
- Oversee cash handling procedures and daily operational processes.
- Monitor financial performance and operate within established budgets.
- Identify opportunities to enhance service, efficiency, and overall café performance.
- Support reporting, scheduling, and administrative responsibilities using company systems and technology.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- 2–3 years of experience in a front-of-house supervisory or management role within food service, hospitality, café, restaurant, hotel, corporate dining, education, or a related environment.
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing team members.
- Comfortable using computers and business technology to manage daily operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures and food service operations.
- Strong communication, organization, and guest service skills.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- ServSafe Certification or local Department of Health Certification.
- Experience managing café, coffee bar, or corporate dining operations.
- Experience supporting budgets, inventory, or financial performance metrics.
