Pay Grade: 12 

Salary:  $66,560

Other Forms of Compensation: 10% bonus eligible

Job Summary

We are hiring immediately for a Customer Service Manager. This position is based in our Fremont, CA location, but will also work out of our San Leandro, CA location as needed. Please note hours may vary and some overtime is required. This position supports all client-related managerial staff for the unit, focuses on client account health, and will be responsible for a variety of analytical and administrative duties.


Key Responsibilities:  

  • Jointly responsible for creating and organizing account and product operations and procedures.
  • Create and own processes surrounding product and account reporting.
  • Position will interact with clients; professionalism and courtesy is required.
  • Shared responsibility and support for account retention and growth.
  • Oversee strategic analysis, auditing, and reporting. Develop a client-level strategic plan with local management; track and measure changes to performance and profitability.
  • Participate as needed in implementation of recommended changes.
  • Coordinate and/or own needed changes to products and equipment.
  • Oversee scheduling for assigned accounts and service vertical.
  • General system reporting, record-keeping, and auditing as assigned.
  • Reviews account and product records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Complete various data entry, record retention, and support documentation as required.
  • Build, implement, and track strategic retail opportunities.
  • Maintain compliance with company and legal standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Assist branches with grand openings
  • Ensure we are compliant with local and national account standards; review corporate compliance reporting  
  • Ensure action plans are developed and implemented to improve SSS/control V-9 (food waste, o/s, etc)
  • Develop an account level incremental sales plan with local management; track performance and increase profitability (Owners Business Plan)
  • Coordinate efforts to improve the customer retention and client experience at the point of sale
  • Build retail pricing opportunities and encourage repeat sales (Best Practices), and introduce new products to increase revenue
  • Drive compliance to merchandising standards
  • Assess performance by location through audit reports (Quarterly District Evaluations)
  • Perform the job functions of the Route Driver position, when needed, including driving a company vehicle over an established route to deliver products, render services, and fill and maintain vending and related equipment.


Preferred Qualifications:  

  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred; two year College degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable
  • Strong work ethic, excellent communication, and a positive attitude are most important requirements!
  • Analyst experience preferred.
  • Expert skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, namely Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Three years of experience in a similar position preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail required.
  • Ability to thrive in a demanding environment strongly preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a background and drug screen.
