Salary: 65,000 - 70,000 / year based on experience

Job Summary

We are seeking a growth-minded Chef Manager to lead both culinary and food service operations across a 40-bed SPARC facility and an off-site inpatient home on 2nd Avenue, which maintains an average daily census of 20 patients. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall success of the kitchen and front-of-house operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, high-quality food service, and a strong focus on sustainability and local sourcing.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of both facilities, ensuring smooth coordination and service delivery
  • Maintain regulatory readiness and compliance with all applicable federal and state agencies
  • Oversee full culinary management, including inventory, ordering, and receiving
  • Develop and execute cost-effective menus with a focus on quality and local ingredients
  • Demonstrate knowledge of P&L accountability; contract-managed service experience is a plus
  • Lead sustainability initiatives within the culinary program

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of HACCP standards
  • Minimum of three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant settings
  • Strong background in inventory and purchasing control
  • Deep understanding of food and catering trends, with emphasis on quality, production, sanitation, food cost control, and presentation
  • Experience with exposition (expo) cooking
  • ServSafe certification is a plus
  • P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience highly desirable
