AREA DIRECTOR - CHARTWELLS K-12 FOOD SERVICE - CON

Salary:  $120,000 - $130,000

Other Forms of Compensation: Yearly Bonus; Company Car

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Area Director to support our strong CHARTWELLS K12 FOOD SERVICE operations in Central and Southwest CT.  Working as our Area Director, you are responsible for multiple school district client accounts. You will lead a large team of dedicated Directors across the region. You will be responsible for leading and supporting positive client relations, building strong financials, developing & mentoring people and business growth. Reporting to the RVP, successful Area Director will visit clients  providing support and accountability to the in-unit directors for our school districts.  

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitors the overall financial performance of the accounts to ensure profitability
  • Ensures consistent and fair administration of personnel policies
  • Manages planning, budget analysis and reporting for the region
  • Participates in the sales process to grow the region

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS Degree preferred
  • Five plus years of contract foodservice management experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Strong financial acumen including P&L experience 
  • Multi-unit experience needed
