Job Summary
Summary: The Full-Time Cook is responsible for preparing daily meals for professional athletes at Zions Bank Stadium, supporting the training and performance needs of Real Salt Lake and Utah Royals FC. This role focuses on high-quality, nutritious meal preparation, consistency, and food safety in a professional team-dining environment.The Cook works closely with culinary leadership to execute menus, support meal service schedules tied to training and match days, and maintain Levy standards of excellence, cleanliness, and professionalism.
Job Duties:
- Pepare and cook daily meals for professional soccer teams
- Execute menus according to established recipes, nutrition guidelines, and standards
- Assist with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack preparation as scheduled
- Ensure food quality, flavor, consistency, and proper portioning
- Support meal service timing aligned with training and match schedules
- Assist with daily prep, cooking, plating, and service of team meals
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
- Follow proper storage, labeling, rotation, and temperature control procedures
- Assist with post-service cleanup and kitchen reset
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards
- Ensure proper handling of raw and cooked foods
- Maintain cleanliness of prep areas, equipment, and storage spaces
- Adhere to all Levy safety policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively with chefs, cooks, and support staff
- Communicate clearly regarding prep needs, shortages, or concerns
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in a team-focused environment
- Support a positive and respectful workplace culture
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must obtain valid Utah Food Handlers or Manager Food Safety Certificate
- Previous cooking experience in a professional kitchen
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and varying schedules
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
