Job Summary
The Bartender prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while delivering exceptional guest service. This role is responsible for maintaining beverage quality, ensuring compliance with alcohol service regulations, accurately processing transactions, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized bar environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, professional guest service and beverage recommendations.
- Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
- Verify IDs, follow Responsible Alcohol Service (RAS) policies, and prevent underage or unsafe alcohol consumption.
- Accurately process orders, payments, comps, voids, and waste through the POS system.
- Monitor and restock beverage inventory; assist with inventory counts and minimize waste.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar, equipment, and work areas.
- Complete opening, operating, and closing duties.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Uphold company hospitality, safety, and service standards at all times.
Requirements
- Food Safety and TABC Certification required.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and use required protective equipment.
- Strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills.
