Job Summary

 

The Resident Regional Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing a diverse portfolio of client locations across various markets. As the primary point of contact for all client escalations, they work closely with front-line managers to ensure compliance with operational standards, financial performance, and safety. This position reports to the Regional Director of Operations and supports a team of 20 Site Managers/Leads, and Sr. Associates across 16 Site Locations in activities related to Office Support Services such as mailroom, shipping & receiving, hospitality and reception. The RRM has a fiscal responsibility of $5MM+ including budgeting/forecasting, P&L reviews, cost allocation, and invoicing both vendor and client. This position requires 50% travel and is bonus eligible up to 15%. While this role is based in Houston, TX to portfolio is comprised of sites located in Florida, Georgia, Arkansas, Colorado.

Essential Duties: 

 

Achieving Budget/Financial Responsibilities
 


•    Develops financial forecasts, and budgets and balances programs and resources for account(s)
•    Responsible for attainment of financial goals for the account(s)
•    Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of financial data and statistics
•    Reviews and analyzes financial statements, weekly operating reports and other financial results
•    Monitors and audits the accounting and control process within the account(s)

 

 

 

 

Customer Relations

•    Maintains and supports client satisfaction at a level that ensures account retention
•    Administers required client/customer surveys (and other feedback instruments) and responds in a timely and effective manner
•    Ensures that all employees demonstrate an aggressive hospitality (respect) orientation toward customers and clients
•    Promotes client awareness of program alternatives and the availability of corporate resources
•    Monitors and ensures compliance with the provisions of client contracts
•    Assist in customizing programs to meet each account's unique needs as required
•    Monitors client communications effectiveness including communicating the benefits of maintaining ESFM as the services management provider
•    Assist in developing and/or monitoring a district/unit business plan and reporting to clients as needed

Operation Excellence


•    Increases regional revenue and/or operating profit contribution by promoting and monitoring the building of services and creating other opportunities for growth
•    Maintains an awareness of the competition and market conditions internal and external to the accounts and districts
•    Coordinates with other functional areas the resale (reassessment and rebid) process
•    Promotes and leverages ESFM and Compass Group resources to maximize advantage throughout the region
•    Identifies and recommends new sale opportunities
•    Active involvement with Regional Director and/or sales directors in the bid and selling process as required
•    Plan, organize, direct, coordinate and supervise functions and activities of the region
•    Establish work standards and work flow
•    Establish and implement policies and procedures for site operations
•    Demonstrates and promotes corporate culture, values and management philosophy
•    Demonstrates a proactive and enthusiastic attitude in striving for and meeting all business goals and objective
•    Recognizes the importance of effective leadership in meeting and targets set forth in the region's performance plan
•    Responsible for implementation and effectiveness of programs in each district for compliance with corporate and division standards
•    Recognizes the need for and demonstrates good communication and listening skills with clients, customers and employees
•    Visit assigned accounts both in-person and virtually on a regular basis to maintain engagement, foster open communication, lead training workshops, and maintain visitiblity into site specific processes and procedures
•    Implement and manage robost safety programs, and follow established safety guidelines
