Job Summary
ESFM is seeking a highly accomplished, strategic, and people-focused Vice President of Operations to serve as the executive leader responsible for the Oil & Gas Company account. This position carries full responsibility for the operational, financial, client relationship, and talent performance of one of ESFM's most significant integrated facilities management portfolios. The Vice President of Operations will provide executive oversight for all service lines, including Hard Services, Soft Services, Food Services, Workplace Experience, Capital Projects, Facilities Engineering, Financial Management, Forecasting, Budgeting, Business Development Opportunities, and Operational Excellence initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Leadership & Strategic Direction
- Lead the Oil & Gas Company account, providing strategic oversight across locations, business units, and services.
- Develop and execute business strategies aligned with client and ESFM goals.
- Serve as the primary executive contact and operational leader.
- Drive standardization, innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Partner with client leadership to deliver solutions that support evolving business needs.
- Identify growth opportunities, service enhancements, and value creation while supporting safety, employee engagement, and financial performance.
Operational Leadership
- Provide executive oversight for all integrated facilities management services across the portfolio, including:
Hard Services
- Facility maintenance, engineering, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems.
- Reliability-centered maintenance, asset lifecycle management, energy/sustainability programs, and critical environment operations.
Soft Services
- Custodial, landscaping, waste/recycling, reception, mailroom, logistics, and workplace experience services.
Food Services
- Corporate and executive dining, catering, hospitality, food safety, and service quality initiatives.
Projects & Capital Programs
- Capital planning, renovations, transitions, project governance, risk management, and multi-site project portfolios.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain executive-level client relationships.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Oil & Gas Company leadership.
- Lead business reviews, ensure contractual performance, and drive customer satisfaction.
- Resolve complex operational issues and identify opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and added client value.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Facilities Management, Operations Management, Hospitality Management, or related discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive operations leadership experience.
- Minimum 10 years leading large, complex, multi-site service operations.
- Significant experience managing integrated facilities management programs.
- Demonstrated success managing large P&L responsibilities and multimillion-dollar budgets.
- Experience leading hard services, soft services, food services, and project management functions.
- Proven success managing executive-level client relationships.
- Experience leading geographically dispersed teams.
