Warehouse Attendant

Job Summary

The Warehouse Attendant supports daily warehouse operations by receiving, storing, pulling, and delivering products. This role ensures accurate inventory, proper storage, cleanliness, and safety to support facility operations and events.

Essential Responsibilities

Receiving

• Inspect deliveries and verify quantities against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Record product temperatures: chilled below 40°F and frozen below 0°F.
• Complete receiving logs, temperature records, and daily checklists.
• Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures and store products properly.
• Keep receiving areas clean and organized.

Order Pulling and Inventory

• Pull requisition orders accurately according to pull sheets.
• Document completed, partial, and shorted orders.
• Report inventory shortages promptly to management.
• Assist with stocking, replenishment, cycle counts, and inventory audits.
• Maintain accurate inventory organization and storage practices.

Distribution and Delivery

• Deliver products to designated facility locations.
• Ensure refrigerated and frozen products are stored properly.
• Verify delivery accuracy and completeness.
• Report equipment, storage, or inventory concerns promptly.

Warehouse Organization and Safety

• Maintain clean and organized warehouse, cooler, freezer, and storage areas.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely.
• Support daily warehouse operations and special event needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse, receiving, distribution, or inventory experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to work in warehouse, cooler, and freezer environments.
• Basic knowledge of inventory control and food safety preferred.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, lift, bend, push, pull, and safely move products throughout the facility, including in refrigerated and freezer environments.

Dress Code

• Tops: Black polo shirt; black T-shirt on non-event days.
• Bottoms: Black or khaki pants, thick denim, or slacks. No ripped jeans.
• Footwear: Closed-toe, non-slip shoes required at all times.
• Outerwear: Black sweatshirt, hoodie, or jacket. Hoods may only be worn in warehouse areas.

Attendance Expectations

Arrive on time and ready to work for all scheduled shifts. Follow company attendance policies and promptly notify management of absences, tardiness, or emergencies.
