Job Summary
A Concessions Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and maintaining the quality of food served to customers at a concession stand or venue.

- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, portion sizes, and established standards.
- Set up the cooking area and prepare ingredients before service.
- Monitor food temperatures to ensure food is cooked and held safely.
- Maintain food quality by checking appearance, taste, freshness, and proper portions.
- Follow food-safety and sanitation procedures when handling, preparing, and storing food.
- Keep cooking equipment and work areas clean throughout the shift.
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed during service.
- Work efficiently during busy periods to keep up with customer demand.
- Minimize food waste by using ingredients properly and following portion controls.
- Store and label leftover ingredients and prepared foods according to company procedures.
- Assist other concession employees with food service, setup, and cleanup when needed.
- Follow instructions from the Cook Supervisor or Concessions Manager.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning equipment and preparing the kitchen for the next shift.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
