Job Summary
A concessions porter is responsible for keeping the concession areas clean, stocked, organized, and running smoothly.
- Cleaning concession areas — counters, floors, tables, equipment, and surrounding areas.
- Removing trash and replacing garbage bags throughout the shift.
- Restocking supplies such as cups, napkins, straws, condiments, food containers, and beverages.
- Transporting supplies from storage areas to concession stands.
- Cleaning and organizing storage areas and keeping supplies properly arranged.
- Assisting concession staff with setup, breakdown, and general stand operations.
- Washing or transporting dishes, utensils, and equipment when required.
- Maintaining sanitation standards and following food-safety procedures.
- Cleaning spills quickly to help maintain a safe environment for customers and employees.
- Assisting with closing duties, including cleaning equipment, taking out trash, and securing supplies.
- Reporting maintenance or supply issues to a supervisor.
- Working efficiently during busy events to ensure concession stands remain clean and fully stocked.
- Support cooks, cashiers, bartenders, and other concession staff during busy periods.
- Any other task assigned
