Job Summary
Behind every seamless dining experience is a strong operational foundation — and that's where you come in. Canteen, a division of Compass Group, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Coordinator to support the financial and administrative backbone of our operations. In this role, you'll be a key partner to our operations team, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and smooth day-to-day processes that keep our business running efficiently.

What You'll Do
- Process payroll and submit human resources forms accurately and on time
- Process vendor payables, prepare and submit payment requests, and manage journal entry transfers
- Maintain client accounts, prepare accounts receivable invoices, and follow up on delinquent accounts through collection calls
- Reconcile cash received against cash recorded, and reconcile inventory to ensure accuracy
- Assist with invoice entry, transfers, and research on outstanding accounts payable
- Maintain organized, accurate filing of paid invoices
- Enter and balance purchasing card receipts
- Enter and maintain accurate, up-to-date data within inventory systems
- Enter, submit, and follow up on work orders, escalating as needed to keep projects moving
- Support the broader team with additional duties as assigned

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial recordkeeping
- Comfort working with payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliation processes
- Clear, professional communication skills — you're comfortable following up with clients and vendors alike
- Ability to juggle multiple administrative and accounting tasks while meeting deadlines
- A proactive, organized approach and a team-player mindset
