Position Summary

The Social Media Marketing Intern will help tell the story of Keene State Dining through engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and emerging platforms. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys content creation, photography, videography, and staying ahead of social media trends.

Primary Responsibilities

• Create engaging photo and video content.
• Manage the social media content calendar.
• Write captions and publish posts.
• Monitor engagement and interact with followers.
• Track social media analytics and identify trends.
• Capture dining events, featured meals, and student experiences.

Shared Marketing Responsibilities

• Design simple promotional graphics.
• Assist with campus events and food promotions.
• Support marketing campaigns and student outreach.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions.
• Conduct student surveys and collect feedback.
• Serve as a Keene State Dining brand ambassador.

Qualifications

• Current Keene State College student.
• Active user of Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms.
• Comfortable creating photo and video content.
• Basic Canva or Adobe Express experience preferred.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Organized and dependable.

Learning Opportunities

• Build a professional social media portfolio.
• Learn content strategy and analytics.
• Gain experience managing a campus brand.
• Develop marketing and storytelling skills. 

This is a paid intern position; however, it is not eligible for paid time off (PTO) or benefits such as medical, dental, vision, etc.
