Job Summary
Culinaire, a Compass Group USA company, is seeking an experienced Catering Sales Manager to lead revenue growth at the Westin Lake Mary Hotel. This role is ideal for a driven hospitality sales professional with a passion for events, client relationships, and high‑volume catering sales.
What You’ll Do
- Achieve personal booking and catering revenue goals
- Build, manage, and forecast individual catering sales budget
- Proactively solicit new business while growing existing accounts
- Conduct site inspections and lead clients through the sales process
- Upsell menus and services to maximize revenue and profitability
- Partner with the Director of Catering on long‑term bookings and event planning
- Ensure accurate Event Orders and timely turnover to Event F&B teams
- Manage and support the Event F&B teams for flawless execution
- Review contracts, collect deposits, and ensure accurate final billing
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and industry partners
- Track market trends and competitor activity to drive strategic sales decisions
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of catering or hospitality sales management experience
- College degree preferred
- Proven success meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Strong knowledge of food & beverage trends and luxury service standards
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
- Computer proficiency, including Marriott sales systems (CI/TY preferred)
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
