Job Summary:

The Vice President, Enterprise Financial Performance & Governance is the senior enterprise leader responsible for financial reporting integrity, consolidated performance results, governance discipline, and enterprise-wide accountability across a large, multi-unit, multi-contract portfolio.

This executive owns enterprise financial performance outcomes, ensuring rigorous P&L oversight, forecasting accuracy, margin performance, and transparent executive reporting. Partnering closely with operational leadership, finance teams, and senior stakeholders, the VP drives measurable financial results while embedding disciplined governance and performance standards.

While not directly managing site-level operations, this role holds enterprise-wide accountability for financial results, reporting cadence, governance structure, and executive-level transparency.

Responsibilities:

Enterprise Financial Reporting & Results

  • Lead consolidated P&L oversight, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis across a large enterprise portfolio.
  • Ensure disciplined financial reporting focused on results, margin performance, and value realization.
  • Drive forecasting accuracy, cost control, and investment alignment.
  • Align financial standards, controls, and reporting expectations across the portfolio.

Performance Accountability

  • Establish clear financial and operational performance targets tied to measurable outcomes.
  • Ensure reporting drives action and accountability across contracts and units.
  • Translate financial insights into executive-level decision support.

Governance & Executive Cadence

  • Implement and maintain a formal governance cadence with leadership and client teams.
  • Standardize executive financial reviews, reporting cycles, and performance discussions.
  • Strengthen enterprise controls, risk management, and compliance alignment.

Strategic Optimization

  • Identify opportunities to enhance financial performance through operational and contractual optimization.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve margin, efficiency, and performance outcomes.
  • Embed a culture of financial discipline balanced with continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of senior leadership experience with financial oversight responsibility.
  • Demonstrated enterprise-level P&L accountability across multi-unit or multi-contract environments.
  • Experience overseeing large enterprise revenue portfolios.
  • Deep expertise in forecasting, budgeting, margin management, and executive financial reporting.
  • Strong executive presence with experience engaging C-suite stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead through influence across cross-functional teams without direct operational authority.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Because this position requires you to perform services in an educational facility, there may be periods when the Company does not require you to perform work (such as winter and summer breaks when food service needs decline or cease).
