Salary:  $70,000 - $75,000 /year

Job Summary:

As a Packout Manager, you will lead and coordinate daily Packout operations, ensuring finished food products are accurately labeled, packaged, and delivered while maintaining the highest standards of quality, food safety, and operational efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities:
•    A Packout Manager oversees order fulfillment operations, ensuring products are packed correctly, labeled accurately, and shipped efficiently and on time.
•    Verifies all items in their proper quantity are prepared for delivery
•    Monitors staff completion of daily records
•    Verifies and submits payroll
•    Manages, trains, and develops staff
•    Collaborating with Production, Transportation, and Customer Service Team
•    Completes weekly inventory
•    Monitors and investigates any overages or shortages
•    Ensures all tasks for daily contracted orders and down stacking routines are completed by staff
•    Participates in food quality meetings
•    Verifies food safety, driver and safety log records are completed
•    Monitors labeling for all items with proper information
•    Practices and enforces all federal, state, and local regulations
•    Schedules for maintenance on all equipment 
•    Adheres to all company policies and procedures
•    Provides GREAT customer service to our clients
•    Oversees staff, workflow duties, and maintaining compliance with safety and operational procedures
•    Supervise, train, and schedule Packout employees along with Driver Support Associates to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment
•    Monitor productivity and implement processes to increase efficiency
•    Coordinate with production, warehouse, customer service team, and shipping departments to meet deadlines
•    Maintain inventory of packaging materials
•    Enforce workplace safety standards and ensure compliance with regulations
•    Track and report key performance metrics
•    Troubleshooting packing issues and resolving workflow bottlenecks
•    Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications: 
•    Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant food production, warehouse, or  fulfillment leadership experience will be considered
•    Minimum of two to four years of warehouse management experience preferred 
•    Ability to stand & walk for extended periods in a refrigerated environment with temperatures ranging from 34°F to 40°F.
•    Inventory and purchasing knowledge and control  
•    Excellent customer services skills and experience 
•    Knowledge of packing and shipping procedures 
•    Experience with P&L accountability is highly desirable
