Job Summary

The Director of Food & Beverage leads the strategy, operations, and guest experience across multiple dining concepts, including full-service restaurants, bars, cafés, and catering/event operations. This role requires a visionary hospitality leader with the ability to balance creative innovation, operational rigor, financial performance, and team development in a dynamic, multi-outlet environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations across all venues, ensuring consistent execution, exceptional hospitality, and alignment with brand standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of General Managers, Chefs, and service leaders across restaurants, bars, cafés, and catering operations.
  • Drive financial performance through strategic planning, labor optimization, cost controls, and revenue-building initiatives.
  • Oversee catering and event execution, from intimate VIP experiences to large-scale functions, ensuring flawless coordination and elevated service.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders on guest experience, service standards, menu innovation, and long-term strategic initiatives.
  • Guide the development and curation of food, beverage, and bar programs, ensuring quality, creativity, and market relevance.
  • Manage café and fast-casual operations, including barista programs, grab-and-go menus, and seasonal offerings.
  • Promote sustainability, wellness, safety, and inclusion across all areas of food and beverage operations.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement across front and back-of-house teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive multi-unit leadership experience in full-service dining, bars, cafés, and/or catering environments.
  • Proven success leading complex, high-volume food & beverage programs across multiple concepts.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to build trusted partnerships and lead large teams.
  • Robust financial acumen with experience managing multi-million-dollar P&L statements.
  • Passion for hospitality, guest experience, and operational excellence.
