Job Summary
The Concessions Supervisor is responsible for directing and responding to guest questions and needs. The Supervisor is responsible for multiple stands during the event and the initial set up of products. The supervisor should understand the content of the menu and ensure the timely delivery of food. Strict following of food and safety guidelines are required. The staff is responsible for executing area setup and breakdown. The supervisor oversees the breakdown of the event once it is concluded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meets with the directors before the event to go over operation details.
- Understands and completes all event paperwork and reports as necessary.
- Performs inventory management to maintain high valuation and minimal waste.
- Thoroughly completes all event set-up and breakdown responsibilities within timelines provided.
- Collects post event product inventory and restock requisitions from designated locations.
- Supervises staff during check-ins and breakdowns for the zone that they cover.
- Ensures that staff is on task, quality assurance standards are being met, and the operation is clean and organized.
- Ensure locations are properly staffed and team members are in proper uniform.
- Ensures all food and beverage is properly displayed and maintained throughout the event.
- Employs good safety and sanitation practices including but not limited to functionable hand sinks, temperature logs and sanitation buckets.
- Performs inventory management to maintain high valuation and minimal waste.
- Establishes rapport with guests and understands suggestive and upselling techniques.
- Knowledgeable on all menu offerings.
- Adheres to location appearance guidelines.
- Follows responsible alcohol service policies.
- Monitors marketing, confirming that signage is current and appropriate.
- Upholds policies and procedures to guarantee compliance with company and client expectations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Duties:
- Be punctual, reliable and available for scheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays on event basis.
- Adapt quickly to fast-paced, high-volume environments.
- Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods throughout the day and stand for duration of entire shift.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required work cards including SNHD Health Card, ServSafe Alcohol Card, Non-Gaming Card.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English in written and oral form.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and bend.
- Lift, push pull up to 50 lbs.
