Job Summary
Job Summary: As a General Manager of the Arena Club, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests are provided with excellent service and our team members are upholding Levy's hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintains positive guest relationships by obtaining regular feedback through table visits and executing show quality standards
- Trains and conveys brand clarity through the menu, wine, and beverage knowledge
- Responds and assist in any departmental guest service issues
- Executes all menus, promotions and programs as outlined by the Director of Operations/Department
- Head in accordance with Levy standards
- Ensures all catering services exceed guest expectations
- Successfully presents Levy catering services to guests in a manner that exceeds guest expectations and profitability
- Communicates client’s needs through timely and detailed written and verbal communications to ensure internal understanding / compliance and external guest’s expectation of services
- Have location specific food and wine knowledge
- Have strong attention to detail
- Ensures show quality standards are maintained at all times
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients, guests, subcontractors, not-for-profits and Levy team members
- Regularly obtains feedback from clients and guests to improve operations
- Develops and executes strategic research programs and plans in accordance with Core Signatures
- Thoroughly and accurately uses applicable Levy systems (Purchasing Systems, Point-of-sale, WFM, eReserve and more)
- Achieves assigned budget goals
- Executes inventory control
- Ensures all function setups and breakdowns are executed correctly, efficiently, and expeditiously
- Employs good safety and sanitation practices
- Performs other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ leadership experience in Hospitality
- Associates Degree in Hospitality Management or two years of role level equivalent leadership experience
- High level of technology literacy including Microsoft Office 365 Suite, advanced knowledge of excel, and power point
- 2 years experience leading beverage and food experience, service training, and employee development
- Passion for hospitality, food and beverage
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
