Job Summary

As a General Manager of Premium, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Suites Department and leading your team members in executing The Levy Difference regarding our suites/premium services. From hiring, training, and developing team members to ensuring that all costs are met and quality show standards are maintained at all times, you will be representing Levy and communicating our philosophies and culture to all that you come in contact with.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • ​​​​​​Overseeing all aspects of suites operations
  • Overseeing all aspects of season planning and event preparation to ensure maximum event readiness
  • Partnering with the culinary team to oversee the development of menus for all suites
  • Communicate client’s needs through timely and detailed written and verbal communications to ensure internal understanding / compliance and external guest’s expectation of services
  • Ensure show quality standards are maintained at all times
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, guests, subcontractors, not-for-profits and Levy team members
  • Regularly obtain feedback from clients and guests to improve operations
  • Develop and execute strategic research programs and plans in accordance with Core Signatures
  • Thoroughly and accurately use applicable Levy systems (Purchasing Systems, Point-of-sale, WFM, eReserve and more)
  • Achieve assigned budget goals
  • Execute inventory control
  • Ensure all function setups and breakdowns are executed correctly, efficiently, and expeditiously
  • Execute required daily reporting in a timely manner
  • Complete required department reports and compile information at month end closing
  • Review processes to ensure continued revenue growth and development
  • Assure the complete billing for client services and receipt of payments in accordance with Levy standards
  • Ensure team members adhere to Levy Company guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbook
  • Use all performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team
  • Promote a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale
  • Conduct regular scheduled meetings to ensure lines of communication are open between management and team members
  • Interview, hire, train and develop team members according to Levy guidelines
  • Employ good safety and sanitation practices Follow and enforce responsible alcohol service policies
  • Supporting other locations/properties as needed
  • Other duties, as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a food and beverage managerial position

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management is preferred

  • 2+ years of experience in a Collective Bargaining Unit environment

  • Excellent overall computer skills with advanced knowledge of Excel

  • High financial acumen, budget, labor, COGs, etc.

  • Has excellent brand-specific culinary, wine and beverage knowledge

  • Supervisory, scheduling, training and coaching skills

  • Ability to assess client requirements and deliver ensuring client satisfaction

  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

  • Valid Nevada Food Handler Card, TAM Card, & ServeSafe Food and Alcohol

  • Experience in a Collective Bargaining Unit environment

  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills, flexible and adaptable to constant changes and must possess attention to detail

  • Proactive mindset and able to remain calm under pressure to anticipate and support changes in our business.
