Job Summary
Summary: The Station Attendant is responsible for directing and responding to guest questions and needs. The server should understand the content of the menu and ensure the timely delivery of food and beverage. Strict following of food and safety guidelines are required. The server is responsible for executing area setup and breakdown with frequent bussing and table throughout the event. The chef’s table area should remain stocked and replenished throughout the entirety of the event. This position executes the culinary event from start to finish
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures all food and beverage is properly displayed and maintained throughout the event.
- Knowledgeable on all menu offerings.
- Understands all aspects of event paperwork including information on the Banquet Event Order (BEO); including but not limited to information regarding menus, authorizations, restrictions, delivery schedules, etc.
- Responsible for the set up and breakdown of the event that is taking place in the club space.
- Establishes rapport with guests and understands suggestive and upselling techniques.
- Thoroughly completes all event set-up and breakdown responsibilities within timelines provided.
- Performs post event product inventory and restocks, as needed.
- Immediately reports any incidents or quality issues that guests might have to their superiors.
- Ensuring all food and beverage is properly displayed and maintained throughout events.
- Create, modify and close sale checks via electronic tablet.
- Ensure designated clubs are consistently cleared of used dishes and products.
- Adheres to location appearance guidelines.
- Employs good safety and sanitation practices.
- Follows responsible alcohol service policies.
- Abides by all Company policies and procedures including but not limited to:
- The use of a medium weight cut gloves when handling or using knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins or cleaning a slicer.
- The use of oven mitts, fryer gloves or steamer gloves when handling hot pans from ovens, warmers or steamtables.
- The use of slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Duties:
- Minimum of two (2) years full-service fine dining restaurants/banquet serving experience.
- React with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations.
- Be punctual, reliable and available for scheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays on event basis.
- Adapt quickly to fast-paced, high-volume environments.
- Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods throughout the day and stand for duration of entire shift.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required work cards including SNHD Health Card, ServSafe Alcohol Card, Non-Gaming Card.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English in written and oral form.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and bend.
- Lift, push pull up to 50 lbs.
