Job Summary
Summary: The Retail Supervisor responsible for being able to accurately ring up product in an efficient manner and assists in the supervision of the cashiers. The Supervisor should be comfortable approaching guests to offer services and sell products. In addition, the Supervisor must be willing to help fellow co-workers complete tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Handles credit card transactions using the Point of Sales system following cash handling guidelines.
- Thorough knowledge of POS operating system
- Supervises and gives direction to the retail cashiers and workers.
- Responsible for opening and closing of store.
- Responds to guest’s needs and requests, effectively using suggestive and upselling techniques, and maintains service areas.
- Responds to guest needs and requests and communicate guest issue to management.
- Completes steps of service to ensure utmost guest satisfaction.
- Understands and can describe menu offerings, packaging/presentation and pricing.
- Assists in creating personalized merchandise.
- Ensures all products are displayed and merchandised appropriately.
- Adheres to Levy Company guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbook.
- Thoroughly oversees completion of all station set-up and breakdown responsibilities.
- Follows responsible alcohol service policies.
- Coach teammates on best practices and develops staff in accordance with best retail practices.
- Practices proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment.
- Serves as lead point of contact for day-to-day operations, or acting manager is absence of management.
- Understands Levy Core signature principals and Rank and Rally core principals.
- Ensures employees are following all applicable rules and regulations, as well as state laws, with regards to services, breaks, and best practices.
- Provides leadership within a given area of the operation and communicates needs and challenges with management as appropriate.
- Teaches employees best practices as it relates to store standards on service and controls.
- Identifies areas of opportunity with staff and coaches appropriately.
- Ensures all employees are following uniform code, attendance, and service policies in accordance with Levy expectations.
- Assist with stand assignments for events.
- Assist with event count-ins, count-outs, set-ups and sports/event preparation.
- Assist with coordination of events in T-Mobile Arena.
- Assist with e-commerce customer service and order inquiries.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned.
- Ensures that staff is on task, quality assurance standards are being met, and the operation is clean and organized.
- Upholds policies and procedures to guarantee compliance with company and client expectations.
Job Duties:
- Be punctual, reliable and available for scheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays on event basis.
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms for one-third to two-thirds or more of the designated shift.
- Adapt quickly to fast-paced, high-volume environments.
- Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods throughout the day and stand for duration of entire shift.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English in written and oral form.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and bend.
- Lift, push pull up to 50 lbs.
