Job Summary
Summary: A Retail Warehouse Attendant is responsible for performing a variety of duties, including receiving, storing, and shipping products, managing inventory, and maintaining a safe workspace.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receives and processes incoming stock.
- Organizes and stores inventory.
- Picks, packs, and prepares order for shipment.
- Performs accurate inventroy counts.
- Ability to operate pallet jacks and scissor lifts.
- Maintains a clean warehouse environment.
- Adheres to safty protocols and communicates effectively with the Retail management team.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Personal commitment to your own safety and that of others.
- Abides by all Company policies and procedures including but not limited to:
- The use of a medium weight cut gloves when handling or using knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins or cleaning a slicer.
- The use of oven mitts, fryer gloves or steamer gloves when handling hot pans from ovens, warmers or steamtables.
- The use of slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Scheduling:
- Must be available to work on weekends, holidays. and overtime if business dictates.
