Job Summary

As a General Manager with Wolfgang Puck Catering, you will lead a polished corporate café and catering operation with a strong focus on hospitality, consistency, and financial performance. This is a quality of life leadership role designed for an experienced operator who thrives in a Monday through Friday environment, with evenings, weekends, and holidays off, while still delivering exceptional food and service experiences.

 

The General Manager is fully accountable for day to day operations, team leadership, client partnership, and financial results across café service and on site catering programs. You will serve as the primary point of leadership for both the culinary and service teams, ensuring Wolfgang Puck Catering standards are executed with precision and care.

 

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily operations for café service and catering programs, ensuring seamless execution and consistent guest experience
• Lead, coach, and develop management and hourly teams, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and hospitality
• Maintain full P&L ownership including budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and food cost control
• Partner closely with the client to ensure expectations are met and exceeded, serving as a trusted operational advisor
• Ensure compliance with all company standards, food safety regulations, sanitation requirements, and record keeping practices
• Drive operational efficiency while maintaining Wolfgang Puck Catering quality standards and presentation
• Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of management team members
• Conduct regular audits, meetings, and performance reviews to ensure operational excellence
• Collaborate with culinary leadership on menu execution, catering offerings, and program enhancements

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of foodservice management experience, preferably in corporate dining, café, or catering environments
• Proven experience managing financials including budgets, forecasting, and cost controls
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate, coach, and retain high performing teams
• Experience overseeing retail café operations and catering programs
• Multi unit or complex account experience preferred
• Strong client relationship and communication skills
• Solid understanding of food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and operational reporting systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Foodservice Management, or related field preferred or equivalent professional experience
