Job Summary

The Retail Supervisor plays an important support role within the Team Store, helping to lead daily retail operations, game-day execution, merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and guest service standards. This role supports Lakers and Kings events, Team LA Store operations, and other venue retail needs as assigned. We’re looking for someone who is organized, guest-focused, hands-on, and comfortable leading in a fast-paced retail environment. This person will help guide team members, support operational consistency, and serve as a key connection between staff and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Team Store operations during Lakers, Kings, concerts, and special events, with a primary focus on Team LA Store execution.

• Ensure the Team Store, registers, sales floor, stock areas, and selling locations are clean, organized, fully stocked, and event ready.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash-handling expectations, register readiness, merchandise recovery, and end-of-shift standards.
• Provide warm, friendly service to every guest and coach team member to deliver the same high standard.
• Support team members during shifts by assigning tasks, checking in on progress, offering coaching, and helping with onboarding when needed.
• Assist with inventory tracking, restocking, replenishment, product placement, sizing standards, and merchandise organization.
• Communicate with Team Store leadership on event needs, staffing support, operational priorities, and follow-up items.
• Serve as a point of contact for questions, guest concerns, and team support during events.
• Ensure company policies, uniform standards, service expectations, and operational procedures are being followed.
• Share feedback with leadership on team performance, store needs, inventory challenges, and areas where additional support is needed.
• Assist with consignment merchandise or special event retail needs when assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience in retail store operations, sports retail, or event retail is a plus.
• Comfortable with inventory counts, and basic retail math.
• A team-oriented mindset with some leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• A guest-first approach to service.
• Comfortable working in a lively, fast-moving environment.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays and long hours
