Position Title: Food Line Production Manager (Food Manufacturing Company) 

Pay Grade: 12 

Reports To: Operations Director

Salary:  $60,000 - $70,000 / year

Other Forms of Compensation: Yearly Bonus Opportunity

Schedule:  Based on business need, managers on-site are required to work Saturdays, holidays, and extended hours.

Requirement:  USDA/FDA/SQF (SAFE QUALITY FOODS), HACCP, or Fresh Prepared foods preferred.

Job Summary:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
•    Proficient in all aspects of food service management, with a proven record of success.
•    Ensures operation meets all timelines for service and all other timelines established by management and/or client.
•    Leads all financials including planning, budget development and analysis, and financial reporting.
•    Proactive and positive; interacts professionally with a diverse group of associates, peers, managers, suppliers, clients and customers.
•    Assures standardized recipes are followed and ensures accurate portioning of foods.
•    Verifies accurate quantity of items are prepared for the tray line. 
•    Audits records to ensure conformance with the Company and government as well as regulations and codes regarding food storage, preparation, sanitation and record keeping.
•    Hires, trains and develops the associates.
•    Monitors and investigates any overages or shortages.
•    Collaborates with the managers of all the departments and the Director of Operations to ensure all tasks  on daily production are completed.
•    Participate in managerial and food quality meetings.
•    Verifies food safety records are completed.
•    Monitors labeling all items with accurate information.
•    Implements all federal, state, and local regulations.
•    Schedules Maintenance on all equipment.
•    Adheres to all company policies and procedures.

Education, Work Experience or Capability Requirements: 
•    USDA/FDA/SQF (SAFE QUALITY FOODS), AMS, HACCP, or Fresh Prepared foods preferred.  
•    B.S. degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field; or A.A. degree, plus four years of directly related experience preferred.
•    Excellent knowledge of food with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation a plus.
•    Experience with P&L accountability is highly desirable.
•    Ability to effectively communicate across all levels, including management, customers, and associates.
•    Knowledge of financial, budgetary, accounting and computational practices.
•    Proficient digital literacy to include various computer programs, Microsoft Office programs, e-mail and     Internet.
•    ServSafe® certified is preferred.
•    Bilingual in English & Spanish preferred.
