Salary: $120000 - $125000 / year

Job Summary
We’re looking for a General Manager to lead the dining program at a premier client site in Mineral, VA. This high impact role is responsible for the overall operation where you’ll combine culinary leadership with dining experience engagement. You’ll not only guide the kitchen and menu but also play a visible role in the café, ensuring office workers and clients enjoy an exceptional dining experience every day.

What You'll Do:
- Oversee all aspects of dining operations, including cafe and catering services.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing culinary and service team.
- Ensure achievement of financial goals and targets.
- Design innovate menus and introduce new culinary concepts.
- Foster strong client and guest relationships through visible leadership.
- Manage purchasing, inventory, and financial reporting (with the support of Compass resources).
- Ensure quality, safety, and sanitation standards are consistently met.
- Is well versed in all aspects of foodservice management, with a proven track record of success.
- Is proactive and positive; interacts professionally with a diverse group of associates, peers, managers, suppliers, clients and customers.
- Demonstrates initiative and good judgement in assisting customers, clients, peers and subordinates.
- Audits units to ensure conformance with the Company, government and accrediting agency standards, regulations and codes regarding food storage, preparation, sanitation and record keeping.
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of progressive management experience in dining services (corporate, hospitality, or catering).
- Good knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, marketing and presentation.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, inspire, and develop a team.
- Comfortable engaging with clients and guests directly while running operations.
- A passion for food and creating memorable dining experiences.
- P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable.
- Multi-unit management experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate on various levels to include management, customer and associate levels.
