To support our growth, we're actively seeking a Catering Sous to join our dynamic Bon Appetit team at Google!

 

This pivotal role is responsible for defining and elevating the culinary landscape of diverse catering events, overseeing all aspects of food quality and delivering unparalleled dining experiences for our guests. On a daily basis, you will lead and inspire the kitchen team, ensuring the efficient and timely preparation of consistently high-quality dishes for a variety of event formats, all while upholding an impeccably safe and sanitary working environment. Collaborating closely with the Chef de Cuisine, you will oversee all facets of food preparation, plating, and presentation across our catering events. Your leadership will directly drive culinary excellence, significantly elevate the catering experience for our guests, and contribute to the overall success of the Food program.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Support a high-impact culinary program

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 - 3 years kitchen supervisor experience

  • Ability to manager multiple high volume stations

  • Ability to manage inventory and ordering 

  • Passion for food trends, flavors, and recipe adherence

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment

  • Knowledge of food and workplace safety protocols and compliance

  • ServSafe certification a plus

  • Union experience a plus
