To support our growth we’re looking for a Campus Executive Chef to join our awesome Bon Appetit team at Google!
The Campus Executive Chef (CEC) holds a pivotal leadership role within our multi-unit culinary operations. The CEC acts as a central hub, achieving overarching success in cafe operations, with a particular emphasis on the seamless execution of the Google Food program. You will collaborate extensively with a diverse range of cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and quality across all culinary offerings. Through these multifaceted partnerships, you will drive operational excellence, foster a culture of culinary innovation, and deliver exceptional dining experiences to our users.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage workplace and food safety, including allergen management
-
Provide comprehensive leadership and food program management
-
Foster a hospitality minded community that makes associates and users feel welcome and included

Participate and provide support in all initiatives and programs including menu planning, recipe usage and development

Drive diverse and inclusive associate engagement
-
Assist with talent development and training
-
Oversee food quality and guest experience
-
Provide financial management to deliver budgetary expectations in food, labor and other expenses
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Ability to drive and enhance a culture of Food and Workplace Safety
-
Degree from an accredited culinary institution preferred; bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of 3 years multi-unit culinary supervisory experience in a similar high volume, quality food service establishment

Highly developed culinary skills with comfort in traditional, modern and multi ethnic cuisines

Ability to create new, innovating and exciting dishes within guidelines of the food program
-
Proven track record in leadership: coaching and teaching skills with individuals, and teams
-
Proven ability to manage budgets, utilize reporting platforms, and meet financial goals
-
Proficient in computer and technical skills, working knowledge of Google Suite tools

Experience managing in a Union Environment is a plus
