Job Summary
Senior Executive Chef – Morrison Healthcare
Location: Navicent Macon, GA
Salary: $95,000 – $115,000
Schedule: 5-day work week, 1 weekend every 5 weeks (how awesome is that for an executive chef schedule)

Job Summary
As a Senior Executive Chef with Morrison Healthcare, you’ll lead culinary operations in a hospital environment where food, wellness, and compassion meet. You’ll oversee menu innovation, purchasing, inventory, and cost control while ensuring safe, efficient, and on-trend food production. This is an opportunity to lead a passionate team and make a lasting difference in the lives of patients, guests, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead culinary operations for patient dining, retail, and catering services.
- Establish and maintain high culinary standards focused on quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Train, mentor, and inspire the culinary team to deliver excellence.
- Champion wellness, sustainability, and seasonal menu development.
- Oversee menu creation, purchasing, inventory, and food cost management.
- Analyze performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with ServSafe®, sanitation, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with hospital and Morrison leadership to achieve operational goals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Culinary degree or Bachelor’s in Food Service Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience, ideally in healthcare or large-scale dining.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience managing catering and special events.
- Knowledge of current food trends, sanitation practices, and cost controls.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and kitchen management systems.
- ServSafe® Certification required.
