Job Summary
Summary: An exciting opportunity to join the UW–Madison Concessions Team as a Concessions Support Specialist. This essential role supports the successful preparation and execution of athletic events and concerts at Camp Randall Stadium and the Kohl Center Arena. You’ll work across both venues, performing a variety of indoor and outdoor tasks in a fast-paced environment. This is the perfect role for someone who enjoys staying active and being at the heart of game-day and event operations.
Anticipated Start Date: Between May 30th & August 25th -- Dependent on Orientation Date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock concession and service areas with products and supplies.
- Organize and properly display merchandise and food items.
- Perform cleaning duties, including mopping, dusting, and sanitizing work areas.
- Assist with event setup and pre-event preparation.
- Confirm compliance with sanitation and food safety standards.
- Prepare and set up cooking and service equipment as needed.
- Complete required documentation and paperwork accurately.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support event operations.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to remain on your feet for most of the workday.
- Ability to lift and push up to 30 pounds.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively with others.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
