Job Summary
- Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring guests receive friendly and courteous service at all times.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the menu and available products to assist guests effectively.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a seamless experience for guests.
- Arrange buffet tables and set up food, beverages, and service items according to standards.
- Assemble and deliver all food, beverages, and supplies to their scheduled locations within the suites.
- Monitor food temperatures and maintain safety standards throughout the event.
- Thoroughly clean and organize the suite area after events to ensure everything is left neat and tidy.
- Return leftover food, beverages, and equipment to the catering facility in a timely manner.
- Stock, clean, and maintain assigned suites, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow safety and sanitation procedures to meet health standards.
- Perform other duties as required to ensure successful event operations.
- Team player with a positive, friendly attitude and strong interpersonal communication skills.
- 1+ years of serving experience is required.
- Ability to remain professional with high-profile guests, including donors, alumni, and former athletes.
- Availability to work all UW-Madison Football games and a majority of events at the Kohl Center during the 2026-2027 season.
- ServSafe Food Handler Certification & Alcohol Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to stand and walk for long hours in a high-energy environment.
