Location: Flik Hospitality Group at airport lounge locations in Washington, DC, NYC, Dallas, Las Vegas, and Miami
Schedule: Onsite role with travel (50%); variable hours based on location need and occasional weekends/holidays
Requirement: Registered Dietitian with 3+ years of experience; Serve-Safe certified (or obtained after hire). Allergen labeling, project management, nutritional analysis software, and culinary/food service experience preferred.
Position Details: This pivotal role will be responsible for menu allergen program implementation and oversight, with a strong focus on associate training. The Wellness and Allergy Manager will also assist in implementing and provide oversight for wellness and sustainability initiatives at the accounts.
Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 per year

Job Summary
The Wellness and Allergy Manager is responsible for all nutrition, wellness, and sustainability information and activity in the assigned accounts. This role functions with the airlines and their respective lounges in the airport. In addition, s/he is responsible for comprehensive management of the FLIK Allergen Management Initiative specific to the airlines, which includes identification and labeling of all major allergens for food served in the lounges. S/he develops, supports, coordinates, and measures allergen management initiatives. S/he will lead allergen management education, training, and guidance for assigned account(s) and FLIK associates. The Wellness and Allergy Manager works collaboratively with district managers, dining services directors, chefs, and training managers to promote and support corporate nutrition goals and policies, to implement wellness related programs and initiatives, and to ensure compliance with FDA nutrition and allergy labeling laws. In addition to overseeing nutrition and wellness programs and initiatives, the Wellness and Allergy Manager is also responsible for sustainability initiatives in assigned location(s), such as food waste monitoring and sustainable food packaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implements FLIK and Client wellness and sustainability programs and initiatives in assigned airport lounge location(s), which includes in-field implementation and on-going trainings for assigned location(s)
- Assess client, customer, and operator needs and evaluate current status with regard to allergen management and initiatives to meet specific client needs
- Conducts regular audits and site visits of assigned accounts to assess account performance against wellness and sustainability standards to develop corrective action plans
- Collaborates with regional and local chefs to review menus and recipe development, ensuring adherence to Flik menu writing standards with consideration of various dietary preferences and needs
- Participates in strategic account retention and sales efforts for assigned accounts with support from regional or division wellness director
- Contributes to and/or participates in quarterly business reviews for assigned accounts
- This role also has a hands-on approach to hospitality, foodservice, and the retail side of the business
- Supports and assists unit managers, as needed, which might include customer service, preparing or serving food, assistance with catering and holding associates accountable to standards
- Participates in meeting and calls, as needed
Qualifications:
- Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- State Licensure, where applicable
- Bachelor’s degree in food and nutrition or related field of study
- 3+ years professional experience
- Experience in allergen labeling (packaged foods or restaurant) strongly preferred
- Project management experience strongly preferred
- Serve-Safe certification required or obtained when hired
- Advanced written and oral communication skills
- Strong presentation and time management skills; advanced computer skills, leadership skills, advanced problem solving skills and outstanding interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with nutrition analysis software
- Culinary and/or foodservice experience preferred
