Job Summary
This position will be responsible for processing forms, systems and procedures while ensuring collaboration and communication around stated objectives of the Operations Management team for HR and Finance. Focus on maintaining and enhancing the organization's standards by planning, implementing, and evaluating systems, policies, programs, and practices at the field location.
The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal communication skills, ability to adapt to handle fast-changing situations. The position also requires experience with technology, reasoning, and time-management skills. A Team player with strong patience and demonstrated ability to work with a diverse group of people.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
- Maintain and process all required employment documentation, including: Personnel Files, I 9’s, W4 Tax Filing Status, Background Checks, Drug Screening, 8850 Forms, etc.
- Work directly with Management team on employee recognition and engagement, counseling, personal development plans, annual performance reviews, and stay interviews.
- Produce updates pertaining to training and communication for meetings.
- Prepares employees for assignments by establishing, developing and conducting orientation and training and compliance programs.
- Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; and maintaining records.
- Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
- Administers employee recognition programs, climate surveys and action plans and employee engagement.
- Heavy involvement in creating and delivering employee training including leading orientation classes.
- Responds to inquiries from the field regarding the claim filing process for work-related inquires.
- Tracks and research information for workers’ compensation claims and invoices from medical providers.
- Maintain inventory levels for uniforms and monitor uniform purchasing.
- Count cash, prepare deposits, and enter information into the depository system. Make deposits.
- Learn POS system and able to facilitate a cashier training class as well as act as a cashier if needed.
- Operate within the Point of Sale system, input. Run weekly and monthly reports as they relate to your tasks.
- Answer phone calls and redirect as necessary.
- Assist in maintaining office equipment.
- Complete cash audits on all areas of service.
- Will learn the dining operations to understand how data ties to financial accountability.
- Assist with Quality Control Audits.
- Assist in operations as directed by General Manager/RDM.
- Assigned special accounting, HR and technology projects as needed.
- Other duties assigned by manager.
- No direct supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Must have excellent stand–up delivery and facilitation skills that drive key learning outcomes and motivate application beyond the classroom.
- Must have excellent computer skills (Power Point, Excel, Word, Publisher). And ability to manage presentation equipment (overhead projector, LCD, VCR, audio speakers, etc.).
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; Strong organizational and planning skills.
- This position will require a high degree of confidentiality.
