Job Summary

The Front of House/ Cafe Manager, reporting directly to the General Manager, is a visible and influential leader within a high-volume, multi-unit corporate dining café in Miami, FL. This role is ideal for a hospitality-driven professional who leads from the front, inspires teams through example, and sets the standard for exceptional guest experiences.

The Front of House Manager partners closely with culinary and back-of-house leadership to ensure seamless daily operations, elevated food and beverage quality, and service excellence. Success in this role requires strong communication, thoughtful multitasking, and a passion for developing teams while delivering a welcoming, polished, and consistent dining experience.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Schedules, trains, manages, and develops BOH & FOH staff
  • Manages budget and inventory
  • Assists with catering events as needed
  • Manages culinary program in conjunction with the culinary and marketing teams 
  • Maintains a positive working relationship with staff, venue client, and production team
  • Works with vendors to increase positive cost results
  • Works in conjunction with venue house managers regarding attendance and staffing to achieve maximum results
  • Customer-focused, hands-on role

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • At least 3-5 years of food service/ hospitality management experience in a fast-paced environment, including contract management, country clubs, fine dining /casual dining settings
  • Experience managing others - Strong Communicator, as demonstrated by the ability to interact successfully with a variety of people
  • Excellent computer skills, self-motivation, excellent planning skills, and able to make timely decisions
  • Able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced corporate environment 
  • Working knowledge of the business as well as knows the Miami market
  • Finance, Loss Prevention, and HR experiences
  • Bilingual Spanish/English is helpful 
  • local to Miami, FL
