The HR Specialist will assist the on-site team recruiting, onboarding and administrative tasks relating to the end-to-end recruitment process for hourly and salaried applicants.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing assistance for general administration duties in accordance with Chartwells and the school districts established process standards and requirements, such as: generating and distributing reports, supporting hiring managers with background check processing follow-ups and exceptions, completion of reference checks, etc.
  • Troubleshooting and providing guidance on MyOpportunity recruiting system and process requirements, policies and procedures
  • Creating and maintaining the appropriate documentation, e.g., Manager FAQs, How-to’s, troubleshooting instructions, etc
  • Manage application flow to coordinate and schedule interviews for hiring managers.
  • Follow up with applicants after interview for to ensure completion of pre hire paperwork
  • Complete onboarding paperwork for new hires as well as coordinate uniforms and any district specific requirements such as setting up ID Badge requests with technology.
  • Attend job fairs and other recruitment events and assist with associate orientation.
  • Building of sustainable relationships – effectively interact and collaborate with customers, team-members and technical teams, and provide back-up coverage and training as required.
  • Assist with general office administrative duties as needed.
  • Completion of other assignments and projects as required by a manager.

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Associate’s degree in human resources, business or other relevant degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience in working as an HR / recruitment specialist or functional professional with relevant technical experience.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and relationship management skills.
  • Computer skills including intermediate level proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint (knowledge of SAP/SuccessFactors is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and drive for excellence and high performance.
