Salary: $80,000- $85,000

Long Description
Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning and Coordination:
-Ensures all catering services exceed guest expectations
-Successfully presents Eurest catering services to guests in a manner that exceeds guest expectations and profitability
-Ensures show quality standards are maintained at all times
-Regularly obtains feedback from clients and guests to improve operations
-Supports and communicates Company initiatives
-Respond and assist in any departmental guest service issues
-Employs good safety and sanitation practices
-Oversee the planning and execution of all food, beverage and guest partner events.
-Collaborate with planners and clients to understand needs and preferences, creating customized menus and service styles
-Uphold all agreements between Northwestern Mutual and Eurest.
-Assure all QA is properly followed.
Menu Development:
-Collaborate with the Director of Culinary to create quarterly seasonal menus.
-Annual updates and recommendations for everyday catering menu
-Initiate menu items based on the planner and guest feedback, alongside catering and food trends
Team Management:
-Hire, train, and supervise catering leads and FOH team members.
-Conduct performance evaluations and manage employee relations.
-Holds team accountable to steps of service to deliver great guest service
-Ensures that team members consistently deliver Heartfelt Hospitality to every guest, every time
-Uses all performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team members
-Promotes a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale
Budget Management:
-Prepare and manager budgets for catering services, ensuring profitability while maintaining high service standards. Set pricing and negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers.
-Work directly with the Director of Culinary on assuring all menus are pricing accordingly and correct.
-Achieves daily sales and assigned cost goals
-Achieves assigned budget goals
-Ensures the continual process of revenue development
Client Relations:
-Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and high levels of customer satisfaction. Address any issues or concerns promptly.
-Conduct weekly meetings with clients to promote, discuss, and move the needle.
Marketing and Business Development:
-Promote catering services and develop strategies to attract new clients. Stay updated on industry trends and competition.
-Post marketing on a weekly basis so customers and clients to stay connected.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree is required in Hospitality or Culinary Arts
-Minimum of 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry including 2 years as a Catering Manager.
-Booking, selecting and costing menu items, pricing contracts, and resourcing temporary help and equipment experience is key
