Job Summary
The Director of Operations at Harley-Davidson Museum will oversee restaurant and catering operations, event execution, management team leadership, staffing coordination, food safety compliance, and service delivery to ensure exceptional experiences for guests, clients, and team partners.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of operations leadership experience in restaurants, catering, hospitality, or large-scale events
- Experience managing large teams and cross-functional departments
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, catering logistics, staffing, and facility management
- Proficiency with scheduling, reporting, point-of-sale, and operational software systems
- Familiarity with food safety, OSHA standards, and venue safety procedures
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant, catering, and hospitality operations
- Lead, coach, and provide oversight to the management team
- Manage staffing plans, scheduling, labor execution, and event coverage
- Ensure compliance with food safety, service, sanitation, and operational standards
- Monitor labor costs, operational budgets, inventory, and performance metrics
- Develop procedures to improve efficiency, service quality, and guest satisfaction
- Support catering events, restaurant operations, menu execution, and client service
