Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced F&B Marketing Lead to drive the marketing and promotional efforts for MOTOR® Bar & Restaurant and 1903 Events at the Harley-Davidson Museum. This role blends creativity with operational expertise — developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, managing brand voice and digital presence, leading social media and loyalty programs, and delivering engaging campaigns and events that fuel awareness, traffic, and revenue. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, results-driven marketer with excellent project management skills, strong copywriting ability, and proven social media expertise. A confident, self-starting leader, this person thrives in a fast-paced environment, collaborates effectively across teams, and ensures measurable outcomes through innovative and data-driven marketing efforts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Levy & H-D Museum’s marketing leadership team to shape brand identity (voice, tone, direction) and annual marketing plans for MOTOR and 1903 Events. Translate marketing strategy into actionable programs and campaigns that deliver measurable results.
  • Lead and execute F&B programs and events, partnering cross-functionally to bring concepts to market. Oversee go-to-market planning, onsite execution, and post-event reporting.
  • Manage social media handles (@MOTORrestaurantMKE and @1903Events) on our primary channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest), including monthly social content planning, post copywriting, scheduling, capturing live event coverage, community management, and performance reporting.
  • Develop and execute customer email campaigns — email content planning, copywriting, developing & scheduling within Campaign Monitor, and performance reporting.
  • Support paid media campaigns by coordinating creative assets, collaborating with designers, and drafting ad/radio copy.
  • Maintain website updates for MOTOR and 1903 Events, ensuring accurate menus, promotions, and event information. Manage listings and content across third-party platforms (GrubHub, DoorDash, Uber Eats, OpenTable, etc.).
  • Partner with the operations team to create F&B marketing collateral, menus, promotional signage, and campus marketing materials. Oversee photo/video shoots to create high-quality, on-brand content as needed to support marketing.
  • Lead the MOTOR’s Loyalty Program to increase engagement and repeat visitation. Oversee Loyalty Program campaign development, promotions, performance monitoring, and reporting.
  • Oversee the annual F&B marketing budget, in partnership with Levy’s finance lead, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
  • Establish KPIs and track the effectiveness of F&B marketing initiatives and use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve outcomes.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and drive initiatives from concept to completion.
  • Strong social media skills, including planning content calendars, writing compelling copy, engaging with audiences, and live event coverage.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with sharp attention to detail.
  • Highly organized and confident, with the ability to hold others accountable and ensure follow-through.
  • Self-starter with a go-getter attitude, comfortable working with limited direction and taking ownership of outcomes.
  • Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working across teams and levels of leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance big-picture strategy with hands-on execution.
  • Experience managing creative assets such as photos, videos, ads, or collateral to support campaigns.

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with content marketing principles, including experience with CMS platforms, email marketing systems (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Mailchimp, HubSpot, Campaign Monitor), and social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
  • Proficiency with marketing analytics tools and platforms to track performance and report actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, social media strategy, and content best practices.
  • Experience in hospitality, food & beverage, tourism, or attractions marketing.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing and digital management or a related role.
