Position Title: Facilities Leader
Salary: $120000 - $125000 / year

We are seeking a Facilities Services Leader to oversee and lead the Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) partnership at a premier client site in Mineral, VA. This hybrid role blends culinary leadership with facilities management expertise, requiring a leader who can deliver exceptional service while driving operational and financial performance.
The Facilities Services Leader will serve as the primary client liaison, overseeing all aspects of the food program and IFM collaboration. Responsibilities include coordinating daily food and facility operations, aligning services with workplace experience goals, and working closely with facilities, janitorial, and maintenance teams to ensure a seamless and integrated service experience. This position also plays a key role in supporting cross-functional initiatives and maintaining a strong partnership with the client to deliver outstanding results.
The ideal candidate will bring a combination of culinary and financial management expertise with a working knowledge of facilities operations. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential to effectively align the food program and IFM operations with client expectations while fostering collaboration and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and supervision to a diverse team of facilities and foodservice professionals.
- Cultivate an environment of excellence, safety, and continuous improvement through effective training and development initiatives.
- Oversee dining operations including café and catering services, ensuring quality, safety, and financial performance goals are achieved.
- Coordinate with facilities, maintenance, and janitorial teams to deliver an integrated service experience aligned with client objectives.
- Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and maintain compliance with operational standards and regulations.
- Lead recruiting, onboarding, and team development to ensure optimal staffing and a positive workplace culture.
- Foster strong client and guest relationships through proactive communication and visible leadership.
- Ensure compliance with company, government, and accrediting agency standards related to food preparation, sanitation, and facilities operations.
- Prepare reports, long-range plans, and maintenance schedules as needed to support operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum of five years of management experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a related service field with high client interaction.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving abilities in fast-paced, unstructured environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Experience in contract-managed services and P&L accountability preferred.
- Knowledge of food and catering operations, including sanitation, production, and cost control, is a plus.
- Multi-unit management experience preferred.
