Job Summary

At Wolfgang Puck Catering, hospitality, culinary excellence, and client partnership come together to create exceptional dining experiences. As the Assistant General Manager (AGM), you will play a key role in supporting the overall operation of a corporate dining account and catering program, helping to ensure outstanding service, operational success, and a positive team culture.
 
Working alongside the General Manager, culinary leadership, and client stakeholders, you will help drive daily operations, develop team members, and support financial and service objectives. This opportunity is ideal for a hospitality professional who enjoys building relationships, leading through collaboration, and creating memorable experiences for guests and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the General Manager to oversee daily dining, hospitality, and catering operations.
  • Help ensure exceptional guest experiences through high service standards and operational consistency.
  • Support the planning and execution of catering events, meetings, and special functions.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, guests, and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with financial performance management, including labor planning, budgeting, forecasting, and expense controls.
  • Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and guest satisfaction.
  • Coach, support, and develop team members, fostering an inclusive and engaging workplace culture.
  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to implement new programs, promotions, and service offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and company standards.
  • Assist with inventory management, purchasing, and operational planning activities.
  • Support client satisfaction programs and respond proactively to feedback and service opportunities.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in hospitality, corporate dining, catering, foodservice, restaurants, hotels, conference centers, or related service environments.
  • Experience supporting operational leadership, team development, and client relationship management.
  • Strong commitment to hospitality, customer service, and creating exceptional guest experiences.
  • Ability to lead through collaboration, communication, and coaching.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments with changing business needs.
  • Understanding of financial reporting, labor management, and operational performance metrics.
  • Ability to build effective relationships across teams and departments.
  • Comfort using technology, including Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, reporting tools, and operational systems.
  • Degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Foodservice Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience supporting corporate dining, premium hospitality, conference center, or catering operations.
  • Knowledge of foodservice operations, financial management, and client services.
  • Experience leading teams and supporting employee engagement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with current workplace hospitality, dining, and guest experience trends.
