Job Summary
The Marketing Programs Manager supports the strategic execution and consistency of national
marketing and engagement programs across Compass Group’s LinkedIn portfolio. Reporting
directly to the National Marketing & Communications Director, this role drives program
development, creative execution, and operational alignment across multiple sites, ensuring
cohesive brand standards and measurable engagement outcomes.
This position manages the day-to-day coordination of marketing initiatives—including creative
content development, site-level program standards, proposal support, and campaign
implementation—while escalating high-level strategy, client-facing matters, and approvals to the
National Marketing & Communications Director.
POSITION OBJECTIVES:

Major Duties
Program Development and Strategy
● Support the planning, rollout, and optimization of national marketing and engagement
programs that reflect Compass and LinkedIn’s shared values and objectives.
● Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (culinary, operations, events, and technology
teams) to deliver cohesive and creative programming across all food, events, and
hospitality platforms.
● Develop marketing proposals, promotional concepts, and activation briefs for review and
alignment with the National Director.
● Manage site implementation of national programs, ensuring compliance with established
brand standards, messaging, and visual identity.
● Identify opportunities for cross-site engagement and contribute to scalable frameworks
that foster consistency while allowing for localized execution.
Technology and Systems Management
● Coordinate the use and maintenance of marketing and engagement tools, platforms, and
systems used for national program delivery.
● Support integration of new technologies and applications to improve tracking,
communication, and reporting across multiple sites.
● Maintain working knowledge of engagement and analytics software to assist with data
input, review, and performance insights.
Escalate system-level or integration challenges to the National Director for resolution and
strategic direction.
Marketing Creative, Standards, and Promotions
● Develop and manage creative marketing materials—including digital assets, on-site
collateral, and promotional campaigns—in alignment with national brand standards.
● Collaborate with site marketing leads to ensure all visual and written content maintains a
unified Compass at LinkedIn voice.
● Oversee the execution of national account promotions, seasonal campaigns, and
engagement activations across sites.
Support proposal writing, campaign storyboards, and creative presentation decks for new
initiatives and internal stakeholder review.
● Review and proof marketing deliverables for brand alignment, accuracy, and accessibility
prior to launch.
Functions/Tasks
Data Analysis and Reporting
● Collect and track engagement and campaign performance metrics across national sites.
● Prepare regular reporting dashboards highlighting participation trends, key outcomes, and
areas for improvement.
● Provide insights and recommendations to the National Marketing & Communications
Director to guide future planning and resource allocation.
● Ensure all reporting data is accurate, current, and reflective of national standards.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
● Monitor emerging trends in workplace engagement, marketing communications, and
digital experience platforms.
● Recommend new tools, strategies, and creative concepts that enhance employee
participation and storytelling opportunities.
● Contribute to the ongoing evolution of Compass at LinkedIn’s marketing identity by
proposing creative solutions that elevate the employee and guest experience.
Collaboration and Escalation
● Act as a liaison between national leadership and site-level marketing teams to maintain
alignment on priorities, standards, and deliverables.
● Support training and onboarding for new site marketing team members on Compass at
LinkedIn standards and tools.
● Manage daily communication across teams, escalating strategic decisions, client updates,
or program modifications to the National Marketing & Communications Director.
● Foster collaboration, shared learning, and best practice exchange across national sites to
strengthen program execution and engagement outcomes.
Customer Service and Client Relations
● Treats all guests and staff with care and respect.
● Handles guest complaints immediately and professionally, putting the guest at ease and
resolving the issues to their full satisfaction.
● Reviews and responds to Food Program concerns or inquiries in a timely manner; escalates
to National Marketing & Communications Director when required
Overall Management
● Teaches Bon Appétit philosophy and culture, emphasizing food made from scratch,
friendly and attentive service and a safe and clean environment
● Supports management decisions while promoting a team spirit.

Qualifications

● Education: Minimum BA or BS degree in Marketing/ Communications or Public
relations.
● Experience: Two years experience working with a marketing firm or in a marketing
capacity within the retail industry or a restaurant.
● Able to speak or write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings.
● Able to speak clearly and listen attentively to staff, peers, supervisors, guests and client.
● Has a computer skill with a working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel and
Power Point), Google Workspace and Canva
● Strong passion for great food.
● General culinary knowledge of basic kitchen practices, protocols and procedures.
● Ability to follow all Bon Appétit Health & safety standards.
● Position requires 25% of travel.
