Role Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned leader to join our team as the Senior Director of Global Data Strategy & Analytics. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our data and analytics initiatives, responsible for architecting our data infrastructure, driving strategic projects, and guiding our talented team. This highly visible position reports to the Global VP, Strategic Projects and requires a strategic mindset, technical expertise, and a proven ability to lead and influence across a global organization.

 

The great things you will be expected to do:

  • Strategy & Vision: Define and execute the multi-year data analytics strategy and roadmap with a focus on simplification, automation and incorporation of AI.

  • Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data professionals.

  • Data Governance & Infrastructure: Own the design and management of the global data infrastructure, ensuring its scalability and integrity. Collaborate with corporate data teams to establish best practices.

  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with senior leaders in Operations, Finance, HR, Culinary, and the client to identify business needs and deliver data-driven solutions.

  • Business Intelligence & Automation: Oversee the development and maintenance of key business analytics tools, lead initiatives to automate and streamline reporting processes.

  • Analytics & Reporting: Collaborate with regions to drive high-level analysis to support executive-level business reviews and ad-hoc requests, translating complex data into actionable insights for the business and understandable information for the client.

  • Client Management: Communicate with clients landing key messages, and support ad hoc analyses and projects based on business needs and client requests 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, Statistics, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.

  • 10+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, consulting, or a related field, including at least 5 years of leadership experience.

  • Expert knowledge of data governance, data modeling, and relational databases.

  • Advanced proficiency with data platforms like Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Looker, Data Studio) and SQL.

  • Proven ability to lead and influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to tell compelling stories with data.

  • Experience in high-volume corporate dining or restaurant operations is a plus.
