Job Summary:

The CSM 2 – Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing inventory accuracy, order execution, and warehouse organization to ensure efficient operations and route readiness. This role plays a critical part in supporting order builders by managing all generated orders, maintaining inventory integrity, and ensuring products are accurately staged for distribution. The position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage inventory processes in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

Order Management
•    Manage and oversee all orders generated by order builders.
•    Review orders for completeness and accuracy to support route efficiency.
•    Ensure all products are correctly picked, staged, and aligned with route requirements.
•    Identify and resolve discrepancies in orders before distribution.

 

Inventory Control
•    Maintain accurate warehouse inventory through regular monitoring and adjustments.
•    Conduct physical inventory counts and cycle counts on a scheduled basis.
•    Investigate and reconcile inventory variances.
•    Ensure proper product rotation, stocking, and storage practices.

 

Warehouse Organization
•    Count, sort, and organize inventory items to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
•    Ensure products are stored in designated areas following established warehouse standards.
•    Support efficient workflow by maintaining organized picking and staging areas.

 

New Item Management
•    Oversee the onboarding of new inventory items.
•    Place new items on the production or distribution line in appropriate locations.
•    Map and zone new and existing items to ensure optimal accessibility and efficiency.
•    Maintain accurate product location data within systems.

 

Process Improvement & Compliance
•    Ensure adherence to company policies, inventory procedures, and safety standards.
•    Identify opportunities to improve inventory management processes and order accuracy.
•    Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to enhance workflow efficiency.

 

Qualifications
•    Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
•    Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
•    Experience with inventory management systems and warehouse operations preferred.
•    Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
•    Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
