Job Summary
As the Vice President of Customer Experience, you will lead and manage all aspects of customer relationships and business operations to ensure excellence, efficiency, growth, and retention. You will oversee people, resources, service delivery, and foster a culture of hospitality while analyzing systems and results to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive results across client growth, retention, satisfaction, people leadership, financial performance, retail and marketing programs, and executive team participation.
- Lead the business to achieve high performance as measured by company scorecards.
- Build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Identify client needs and maintain a high level of emotional intelligence.
- Communicate account progress and new company initiatives to clients.
- Conduct and monitor customer, client, and associate satisfaction surveys.
- Visit client sites and facilities regularly.
- Deliver corporate communications and priorities to regional teams and clients.
- Build and lead a high-performing, results-driven team.
- Cultivate a people-focused culture emphasizing growth and development.
- Ensure corrective actions are taken at client sites not meeting satisfaction standards.
- Develop and monitor accurate budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure financial performance aligns with client expectations.
- Support the sales process, including site surveys, presentations, negotiations, and contract approvals.
- Oversee operations team performance at customer sites.
- Ensure annual audits are conducted, including financial, contractual, customer satisfaction, sanitation, food safety, and HR compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 10–15 years of upscale food service experience, including 8+ years in management.
- Proven experience in personnel management, including hiring, supervision, evaluation, development, and succession planning.
- Ability to multitask and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to make decisions based on financial data.
- Knowledge of HACCP controls and proper food storage/use.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- ServSafe or Department of Health certification is a plus.
- Ability to interpret financials, business records, and statistical reports.
- Skilled in policy analysis and strategic communication at the C-suite level.
