Salary: $88,000 to $95,000

About the Role

The Assistant General Manager works closely with the Director of Operations and provides hands-on leadership and strategic support to both Front of House and Back of House teams with a specific focus on the Beer, Wine, and Cocktail programs. The AGM collaborates with the Management Team to ensure we consistently deliver phenomenal service, including best-in-class culinary and beverage offerings for every guest.

This leader will guide, educate, and inspire the team to create an outstanding guest experience while fostering a positive, professional, and high-performing work environment for all employees.

 

Key Responsibilities

·        Partner with the Director of Operations to oversee daily operations and ensure seamless service execution

·        Lead the bartender team – recruiting, hiring, and training along with weekly schedules

·        Ensure the consistency of the cocktail offering, standardizing recipes and best service practices

·        Lead, coach, and develop FOH and BOH managers and hourly team members

·        Uphold and elevate service standards to ensure an exceptional hospitality-driven experience

·        Oversee scheduling, labor management, and productivity

·        Ensure operational excellence across culinary, beverage, and service execution

·        Maintain strong communication and collaboration between departments

·        Monitor financial performance, including cost controls and revenue optimization

·        Support hiring, training, and performance management initiatives

·        Act as Manager on Duty and step in as needed to support all areas of the business

·        Proven experience developing cocktails and an overall strong knowledge of diverse bar programs

·        Experienced in high-volume, service-driven environments

·        Collaborative, positive, and solutions-oriented

·        Skilled at developing teams and fostering accountability

·        Financially savvy with experience managing labor and operational budgets

·        Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence
