Job Summary
Shape the Campus Experience at One of the World’s Most Dynamic Universities
Chartwells Higher Education is seeking a passionate, creative, and strategic District Marketing Manager to lead marketing efforts at New York University. This role is ideal for a highly motivated marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and is excited to elevate the campus dining experience through innovative programming, data-driven insights, and meaningful campus partnerships.
As the District Marketing Manager, you’ll actively engage students, faculty, staff, and guests through social media, surveys, focus groups, and on-campus events to measure guest satisfaction, identify opportunities for growth, and introduce new concepts, menus, and service models.
What You’ll Do
Lead & Strategize
Supervise and direct all campus marketing activities, ensuring alignment with Chartwells and NYU goals
Develop, execute, and manage comprehensive annual marketing plans for campus dining operations
Drive sales and engagement across meal plans, retail dining, residential programs, and catering
Measure and report on marketing performance and results
Collaborate & Innovate
Partner with the NYU community to strengthen campus relationships and enhance the student experience
Support and promote sustainability initiatives, nutrition and dietary awareness, wellness programming, and residential life efforts
Lead and collaborate with a diverse committee of NYU and Chartwells stakeholders
Create & Communicate
Plan, coordinate, and execute engaging programming and on-campus events
Create and distribute high-quality marketing collateral, including newsletters, promotional materials, and guest feedback tools
Ensure all marketing materials align with brand standards and the direction of the Director of Marketing and Guest Experience
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field
- Minimum of three years of marketing experience, with higher education experience strongly preferred
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to engage large and diverse audiences
- Knowledge of merchandising strategies and promotional planning
- Exceptional writing and communication skills
- Highly organized, collaborative, and creative mindset
