Position Title: Director of Food and Beverage

Salary: $145,000 to $165,000

Other Forms of Compensation: Bonus Eligible

Job Summary

The Director of Food and Beverage is responsible for all day-to-day operations of the business. The position entails a need for excellent communication skills; ability to multi-task, strong team leadership, client relations and ensures superior quality and very strong customer service skills.   
This position is located in the heart of NYC It is an exciting opportunity be part of the elite group provided impeccable service to high level guests.
 
 Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversees the entire Food & Beverage Department, including all FOH & BOH team members.
  • Oversees all P&L and budgeting as it pertains to the account, fully responsible for profitability and EBITDA.
  • Manages overall day to day operations of the account ensuring seamless execution and operational efficiency in a variety of environments
  • Conducts HR functions including hiring, progressive counseling, terminations
  • Oversees scheduling, payroll, and team training
  • Fosters strong connection with building residents and venue guests to ensure a consistently high-end luxury experience
  • Maintains positive working relationships with Client as well as other departments
  • Collaborates with the Chef and management team in creating innovative menus and providing top quality food
  • Implements new culinary programs in coordination with Company marketing and culinary teams customizing offerings to create a bespoke dining experience across diverse settings
  • Oversees office and residential amenities to curate and provide a holistic food and beverage experience.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
 
  • 8+ years of food & beveragement management experience, 3+ years as a Director of Operations.  Private club experience is a plus  
  • 4+ years fine dining experience
  • BS, Hospitality or Culinary degree preferred
  • Previous hospitality leadership in luxury environment
  • Exclusive event and catering experience are essential
  • Previous experience managing a budget
  • Desire to learn and grow with a top-notch foodservice company
